The MagicWait map is full of colored circles, and every one belongs to one of five activity types: attractions, restaurants, shows, characters and hidden gems. Knowing what each type offers — and how to spot it at a glance — turns the map into a quick scan of everything both parks have to offer.
Step by step
Open the map
Everything starts from the interactive map, where every activity in the parks appears as a colored circle you can tap.
- Open MagicWait and let the map load the current park data.
- Look at the colored circles — each one is an activity.
- Personal notes you add inside your plans also appear on the map.
Use the filter
The filter selector at the top of the map lets you show only one type at a time, keeping the view clean even on the busiest days.
- Tap the filter selector above the map.
- Choose All, Attractions, Restaurants, Shows, Characters or Gems.
- The map updates instantly to show only the selected type.
Spot the colors
Each type has its own marker color, so you can tell what you’re looking at before you tap anything.
- Attractions use the wait-time color code — green, yellow or red based on the queue.
- Restaurants appear in blue.
- Shows appear in purple and characters in pink.
- Hidden gems appear in amber.
Read the card
Tapping any colored circle opens that activity’s detail card, with the information that matters for each type.
- Tap an attraction circle to see live wait times, minimum height, duration, zone and accessibility info.
- Tap a show circle to see the next showtime.
- Tap a restaurant circle to see price level, cuisine, opening info and Google rating.
- Tap a gem circle to read its description and fun facts.
Tips
- Use the filters when the park is crowded: showing one type at a time makes the map much easier to read.
- Learn the colors: blue, purple, pink and amber tell you the activity type at a glance.
- Shows and gems don’t have queues: purple, pink and amber circles are about experiences, not lines.
