The MagicWait interactive map puts the entire resort on your screen: every colored circle you see is an activity inside the park, updated with live data. This tutorial shows you how to read the map, filter what you see, and open any place to get its complete card.

Read the map
When you open MagicWait, the first thing you see is the interactive map of Disneyland Paris and Disney Adventure World. Every colored circle on it represents an activity inside the park: an attraction, a restaurant, a show, a character meet-and-greet, or a hidden gem. The map is a live snapshot of the resort, so what you see reflects the current state of the park, not static information.
- Open MagicWait and let the map load the current park data.
- Drag with your finger to move around and explore every land.
- Identify the colored circles — each one is a place or experience you can interact with.
Filter by type
With so many circles on screen, the filter selector is your best friend. A dropdown at the top of the map lets you choose exactly which type of activity you want to see, hiding everything else so the map stays clean and easy to read.
- Tap the selector above the map.
- Pick one of the five categories:
- Attractions — rides and experiences with live wait times.
- Restaurants — dining options across both parks.
- Shows — parades, fireworks and live performances.
- Characters — meet-and-greet locations.
- Gems — hidden details and secret spots.
- The map instantly updates to show only the circles of the selected type.
Wait-time colors
On attractions, the color of the circle tells you everything you need to know about the queue before you even tap it. The system uses a simple traffic-light code so you can scan the map and spot the shortest lines at a glance.
- Zoom into any attraction circle to see the exact minutes displayed inside it.
- Green means a short queue — around 15 minutes.
- Yellow means a medium queue — around 35 minutes.
- Red means a long queue — 60 minutes or more.
Open a place
Tapping any circle opens the side drawer with the details of that place. The marker colors also tell you what type of activity you are looking at: shows and characters appear in purple and pink and display the time of the next performance, while restaurants appear in blue.
- Tap a purple or pink circle to see a show or character — the drawer shows the time of the next performance.
- Tap a blue circle to see a restaurant — you get its opening and dining information.
- Tap any other circle to see the details of that attraction or gem.
The full card
Every place on the map has a complete card behind it, so you never have to guess. Scroll inside the drawer and you will find the popular times chart with wait times by the hour, opening schedules, a description of the experience, a photo gallery, and even ratings left by other users.

Add to your plan
The best part: with a single tap you can add any place directly to your plan for the day. No copying, no switching between screens — the activity lands in the day you have active in your itinerary.
- Scroll to the bottom of the card.
- Tap Add to plan.
- Confirm — the activity is placed automatically on the active day of your plan.
Tips
- Scan colors before you walk: check the green, yellow and red circles first so you don’t cross the park for a 60-minute queue when a similar attraction is close by with a short wait.
- Shows don’t have queues: purple and pink circles show the time of the next performance, so plan around showtimes instead of trying to “beat the line”.
- Use filters when the map feels crowded: filtering by a single category makes it much easier to spot what you’re looking for in seconds.
