A great Disney day starts with a plan. MagicWait lets you build your entire visit step by step: create a plan, add the days you’ll be in the parks, fill it with activities from the map, and keep everything organized day by day.
Step by step
Create your plan
Everything starts in the Plans section. From there you create a new plan, give it a name, and it is ready to be filled in. It takes less than ten seconds and you can have as many plans as you need, one per trip or per family.
- Go to the Plans section.
- Tap Create plan.
- Type a name for your plan — for example “Family trip” or “September week”.
- Confirm and the empty plan opens.
Add days
Inside the plan you add the days you will visit the parks. The itinerary starts empty with a day carousel, and each date you add becomes its own column. This is what lets you build a multi-day itinerary in a single plan.
- Tap Add day in the empty itinerary.
- Select the date in the calendar.
- A column is created for that day.
- Repeat for every day of your visit — each day gets its own column.
Add from the map
To fill the plan, go back to the map. Open any attraction, show or restaurant, and with a single tap on Add to plan the activity is placed automatically on the day you have selected in the calendar. You never have to pick the day manually when you add from the map.
- Open the map.
- Tap any circle to open its card.
- Scroll down and tap Add to plan.
- Confirm — the activity lands on the active day of your plan.
Manage several days
When you are planning more than one day, you switch the active date directly from the map. Change the date in the calendar, confirm, and the map updates with the data for that day. From then on, everything you add goes to that new active date.
- Tap the calendar button on the map.
- Select another date and tap Confirm selection.
- The map updates with the expected queues and schedules for that day.
- Add more activities — they will be placed on the new active date.
Add without leaving the plan
You don’t always need the map: you can add activities straight from the plan. Each day column has an + button that opens a modal with tabs for attraction, food, show, character and gem, plus a search field, so you can find and place anything without switching screens.
- Tap the + button on a day column.
- Choose a tab: Attraction, Food, Show, Character or Gem.
- Search for the activity you want.
- Tap it to add it to that day.
Organize your plan
Once the activities are in place, the plan becomes a live board you can keep tweaking. Reorder activities by dragging them, mark the ones you have already done, and add personal notes to any activity — everything syncs instantly across your devices.
- Drag an activity to move it up or down in its day.
- Tap the check mark to mark an activity as done.
- Add notes to any activity for reminders or details.
- The changes sync instantly, so your plan is always up to date.
Your whole visit, day by day
With all columns populated, your entire visit is organized day by day in a single place: which park each day, what time you hit each attraction, where you eat and which shows you see. That is the whole trip, ready before you leave home.
- Scroll through the day columns to review your full itinerary.
- Spot overlaps or gaps and fix them by dragging.
- Your complete, day-by-day visit is ready for the park.
Tips
- Set the active day before adding from the map: everything you add while browsing the map goes to the day selected in the calendar, so switch dates first and you’ll never place an activity in the wrong column.
- Use the + button for quick fills: searching from the plan is faster than going back to the map when you know exactly what you want.
- Notes are your memory: add a note to a restaurant table time or a show seat preference and it will be there when you open the plan in the park.
